Description

BL-36 is a truss-type masonry reinforcing for composite wall consisting of brick/block construction with box ties welded at each intersection and extending into the collar joint of a two wythe wall.

  • A 2X-HOOK™ tie is then engaged to complete the system.
  • Not recommended for use in cavity wall design.
  • All 2X-HOOK™ ties are 3/16” (4.76 mm) in diameter and should be embedded a minimum of 1 1/2” (40 mm).
NOTE:
  • Bed joint alignment for connecting wythes recommended.
