BL-34 is a truss-type masonry reinforcing with box ties lap-welded every 16” (400 mm) O.C. They extend across the cavity or collar joint into the outer wythe and should be embedded a minimum of 1-1/2“ (40 mm) but no closer than 5/8” (16 mm) from the outer face.
