Description
The BL-21 consists of ladder-type masonry reinforcing with box ties lap-welded every 16” (400 mm) O.C.
- They extend across the cavity or collar joint into the outer wythe and should be embedded a minimum of 1-1/2“ (40 mm) but no closer than 5/8” (16 mm) from the outer face.
- A fabricated ladder-type reinforcement designed to be embedded in the horizontal mortar joints of cavity, veneer and composite masonry walls.
NOTE:
- Bed joint alignment for connecting wythes recommended.
